Gujarat Subordinate Services Selection Board Gandhinagar invites online application forms from candidates on Ojas website to prepare a selection waiting list for filling up the post of Junior Inspector Class III cadre under the control of the Department of Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs under the control of the Controller Legal and Science and Director Consumer Protection Gandhinagar through direct recruitment. For this, candidates will have to apply online from the official website of Ojas between 2 pm on 5/12/2024 and 12 midnight on 19/12/2024. All the instructions regarding the recruitment process will be posted on the Board’s website, so keep checking the Board’s website from time to time.
The detailed instructions for applying and the entire advertisement must be read carefully by the candidate before applying online. While applying online, no certificate is to be attached to the candidature but while applying online, the entire details will have to be filled in the online application based on the details of the certificates. Therefore, all the certificates such as educational qualification, age, school leaver certificate, category, disability, ex-serviceman and other qualification certificates related to the candidate will have to be filled in the online application based on such certificates. The application will be rejected due to incorrect details in the application. Therefore, the candidate will have to fill the online application form carefully.
Examination Method In the selection process, the candidate will have to give the MCQ type question paper competitive written examination as mentioned in paragraph number nine in the advertisement, which the concerned candidates should note. The Board will provide some instructions regarding the examination through SMS and email on the mobile number, as needed. Therefore, it is necessary to maintain the mobile number and email mentioned at the time of filling the application form until the entire recruitment process is completed. The following disabilities will be considered for the candidates who are physically fit to apply for the reserved seats and for the non-reserved seats.
Salary Scale: Subject to the terms and conditions mentioned in the Finance Department’s resolution dated 16, 2006, the candidate will be eligible for regular appointment in the pay scale as per the then government rules in the concerned office for a period of five years and his services will be considered satisfactory. However, the SLP filed in this regard in the Hon’ble Supreme Court will be subject to the judgment of the SLP filed in this regard.
Age Limit and Educational Qualification For Junior Inspector Class III, the candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 35 years.
Educational Qualification: Must have a Second Class Degree in Science with Physics as the main subject from a University established by the Central or State Laws or a University declared or recognized under the University Grand Commission Act or a degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics Engineering
